System Analyst for Continental Europe

As the insurance subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Banking Group, BNP Paribas Cardif is an insurance company, which operates within the Continental Europe (CE) Zone as a regional organisation in charge of activities in Germany, Poland, Central Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria) and Iberia (Spain and Portugal). In order to respond to the growing need for efficient digitalisation and information system integration, a Shared Service Center (SSC) was established to support the transformation of the operational model of the Group and manage all mutualised information technology (IT) and security activities within the CE Zone.

As part of a shared responsibility of the Production & Infrastructure Team, which meet the needs of clients as well as Group and global IT Service Management (ITSM) standards and best practices. Additionally, the role designs new services, negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and manages technical tasks related to successful transition of digital applications into the European Datacentre (EDC). Naturally, this role liaises with internal and external IT departments and cooperation with multi-cultural teams in Continental Europe (CE).

This role covers following activities

  • Close cooperation with architecture, application support and development teams to contribute to validated design of application infrastructure and security architecture.
  • Support management of the IT infrastructure in the technical aspects of designing, testing, operating and improving IT services.
  • Providing professional consultancy support for internal and international projects.
  • Management of infrastructure work streams for projects.
  • Cooperation in efficient resolution of major incidents, problems and troubleshooting.
  • Design new services and negotiates Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal customers and service providers, and ensures contracts are appropriate.
  • Monitor services and generate performance and SLA reports.
  • Manage and conduct incident, problem and change processes.
  • Contribute to system and service availability according to approved SLAs.
  • Minimise time to response and time to resolution of assigned tasks.
  • Arrange upgrade deployments as per approved schedule.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field would be an asset.
  • Fluency in Czech and English languages is essential
  • Experience at least 5 years in a similar position.
  • Understanding of service delivery oriented business.
  • Analytical and solution oriented team player.
  • Service, quality and detail driven.
  • Client focus, reliable and strong sense of confidentiality and ethics.
