DEVOPS engineer

For our new RETO SSC competence centre we’re looking for experienced Java developers to create new digital solutions for BNP Paribas Cardif’s insurance business.

You will be part of a core competence Java development team, tasked with developing a new strategic online platform offered by the RETO SSC competence centre across Continental Europe. We are carefully choosing the best talent for the job.

This role covers following responsibilities:

• Participate in full project life-cycle: analysis, design, development.
• We put strong emphasis on QA. We automate a lot.
• Java development on the back-end, front-end.
• Implement interesting new features of the strategic online platform.
• Solve interesting and challenging problems.
• Cooperate closely with the business. Coordinate changes across teams.

Your profile

• Experience with Java application development (Devops)
• Experience with version control (GIT) and issue tracking (JIRA) systems.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• English verbal and written.
• Experience with Java 8, Java 11, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud is plus
• Nice to have: Knowledge of microservice architecture concepts, web services, REST.
